Sony has announced the sixth offer of its “PlayStation Store Egg Hunt”, i.e. the Easter-themed sale that began on the 27th of March and should finish on the 9th of April (this Tuesday). From today until 11:59am on the 8th of April (i.e. this Monday), PS3 owners in the EU will be able to get a discounted digital copy of From Dust and I am Alive. As with the fourth offer, which offered a discounted price for Spec Ops: The Line and Duke Nukem Forever but only if you bought the two games together, this is a bundle that presumably can't be divided.
The new price for the two games together is €11.99 (or £9.69), where apparently before the combination would have cost you €21.99 (or £17.99). Unfortunately, for some unknown reason, you won't be able to get the deal if you live in Turkey, which explains why Turkey gets the discount on Assassin's Creed 3 for longer (i.e. until the 8th of April) than the rest of us.
In case you have no idea whether either of these games is worth your time, since they're a little less well-known than some of the previous titles in the sale, From Dust is a God game in which you watch over a nomadic tribe and shape the landscape around them, and I Am Alive is a survival horror set in a post-apocalyptic dystopia. Both games are from Ubisoft.
If this “Egg Hunt” does end at the same time as the PlayStation Store's “Spring Sale”, i.e. the 9th of April, then we can expect one more offer to appear on Monday. If this is Sony's last chance to impress you with a proper bargain, what would you hope to see slashed in price?
