The general rule of Grasshopper Manufacture games is to expect the unexpected. But even the most diehard Suda 51 fanboy might be surprised by the latest Killer Is Dead trailer.
The most recent clip to hail straight from Japan is the usual heady mix of sex, blood, and ultra violence. But it also reveals a bit about the plot, or so it would seem.
Those expecting the primary antagonist to be along the lines of those found in Killer 7 and No More Heroes will be shocked. Because, it's not just some evil mastermind, or a top ranked assassin. Nope, it's a bunch of aliens from outer space:
Another highlight is the very end. Much like the first trailer from Japan, we get an in-depth look at one of the major characters. This time it's Vivienne Squall. Imagine Sylvia Christel, a la No More Heroes, in the sense that she's a sexy femme fatale that also calls the shots (she's lead character Mondo's boos).
Though one key difference is how Vivienne has sixteen arms. Why? Because it's a Suda 51 game, silly!
