Fans of the Call of Duty series will no doubt be familiar with Captain John Price, who was a part of all the Modern Warfare titles as one of its main characters—who also served as its protagonist at some points. Captain Price served alongside John "Soap" MacTavish in Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare and its two sequels, Modern Warfare 2 and Modern Warfare 3.
Together with Soap, Price enacted a personal vendetta to kill Vladimir Makarov and put an end to World War III.
A character named Captain Price was also a main character in Call of Duty and Call of Duty 2. Sporting an impressive mustache, he's said to be the grandfather of the Modern Warfare 2 character.
In any case, Price isn't dead, and he's about to make a return in a new Call of Duty game. Infinity Ward updated their official Facebook page with a high resolution image of Captain Price, who appears more detailed than ever before. One can only assume that Price has been rendered within the studio's next-gen engine, teased yesterday by Activision at the Game Developers Conference 2013.
It's unknown what game he'll be in, but rumors would suggest that Price will be the main character of Call of Duty: Ghosts. That's unconfirmed, but we now know for a fact that Price is back, and he's looking madder than ever.
