Deadly Premonition's a game that pays homage to the likes of David Lynch films, especially his Twin Peaks TV series. The game received mixed reviews from many critics when it was first released, but it got a lot of praise for its unusual storyline and open world set up. The original title was released exclusive to the Xbox 360.
Its creator, Swery65, has been working on a new version of the game called Deadly Premonition: Director's Cut, which he plans to release on both the Xbox 360 and PLayStation 3 later this year.
Today, the game's publisher Rising Star Games released a new trailer for the title with the following description:
"We are certain that you'll have an absolutely delightful time. Let loose those city shackles, and come enjoy the fresh air and quiet, country life. Take a stroll through town and meet the locals – they have wonderfully interesting stories to share. Socializing not your cup of coffee? You can always enjoy a nice scenic drive through the hills, or wet a line and go fishing. And if you're feeling hungry, hop on over to the A&J Diner, or wet your whistle at the Swery65 bar and grill. Life certainly is beautiful here in Greenvale."
Certainly is. Check it out below.
