Like with many other modern titles, Monster Hunter: World will, unfortunately, be getting a Day One patch. Capcom has stated that the patch will bring a number of important changes and fixes to the game.
Running at 815 MB, the patch will enable online systems such as chat and multiplayer which will not work without this patch. New languages such as Portuguese, Brazilian, Russian and more will also be added with the patch, the patch will also add a gallery mode to the main menu, allowing players to rewatch scenes from the game. In addition, the patch is set to introduce numerous bug fixes

Monster Hunter World arrives on January 26th 2018 for PS4 and Xbox One. Unlike previous Monster Hunter titles, this will take place in a seamless world with a strong single-player component to complement co-op play.
