Fans of the Call of Duty series have put together something they're calling "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 – The Movie", which they're planning to release later this year. They've put together a teaser trailer of the film, which is set to take place presumably after the events of Infinity Ward's Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.
What's uncool about this little reveal is that it uses the name Modern Warfare 4, which has easily tricked most of its viewers (as can be seen in the YouTube comments) into thinking that it's in any way official or affiliated to the game's creators Infinity Ward and Activision. It doesn't help that the channel is titled ZeroTwoFourOne, which is similar to Robert Bowling's nickname FourZeroTwo, who served as the Modern Warfare series' community manager.
Misleading information aside, it looks like a decent fan effort.
The description under the video links to UnexpectedReveal.com, which is presumably where the filmmakers will release more information about the film in the coming months.
The full movie is release on November 12 this year.
