If you are going to PAX East in Boston this weekend (and let's be honest, you should be), you can check out a hands-on demonstration Diablo 3 for the PlayStation 3.
According to GameInformer, Blizzard says it will give players the chance to see how the updated interface works, along with direct character controls and a specially adapted inventory. Blizzard will be at booth #1036.
There will be plenty of games available in the exhibition hall, so why is this news?
Diablo 3 was nothing short of a disappointment when it came out on PC last year. There was no offline play, even for single-player campaigns, and that caused the servers to crash on release day (sound familiar, SimCity?).
The game seems to be having a second rising, or at the very least, Blizzard wants it to. It was announced that the game will be released on the PlayStation 3 and 4. In an interview with GameTrailers, Sony also let slip that the console version could support offline play.
Blizzard will also be on hand at the convention to make a few announcements, including one concerning a new, previously unannounced game.
PAX East is this weekend, from March 22 to the 24. Make sure to check out Gameranx for coverage of the events.
