Sony has just released the latest update for PS4 consoles. The update, as usual, is mandatory in order to play on PSN – so make sure you dedicate a little bit of time aside to hit download before hopping online with friends.
The last large update was 5.00 and it brought with it a number of important changes such as enhanced friends list, better broadcasting features, and more. It is stated the latest update 5.05 will improve system performance.
The update clocks in at a relatively small 375 MB to download. This update precedes a major update announced by Sony which the company is currently accepting beta registrations to test out. If you are interested you can sign up over here.
If you are from North America, you can download update 5.05 from here and if you’re from Europe, you can download the new update here.
