HyperX Unveils New Gaming Peripherals At CES 2018

HyperX reveals their latest wireless gaming headset, RGB DDR RAM and more during this year’s CES expo.

The annual CES, or otherwise known as Consumer Electronics Show, showcases a number of exciting electronic products set to launch in the near future. This event is highly regarded for providing new technologies in the consumer electronics industry each year and with it, there’s an abundance of gaming peripherals unveiled to the masses.

For instance, HyperX, a gaming division of Kingston Technology, has revealed a number of new gaming peripherals hitting the market this year. For starters, there’s the HyperX Cloud Flight Wireless Headset, which looks similar to the HyperX Cloud Alpha,you can of course check out our review here.

 

HyperX has stated that the HyperX Cloud Flight wireless headset which will work on PC and PlayStation 4 consoles. Being wireless, there could be some concern about battery life, but according to the press release that was sent our way, you can expect a battery charge to last up to 30 hours.

Some of the bells and whistles you may find on the headset are LED effects, a volume control, and a microphone mute.

 

A new mechanical keyboard is also in the works called the HyperX Alloy Elite RGB. This is an RGB mechanical gaming keyboard that can come with red, brown, or blue Cherry MX key switches. Built out of a solid steel frame, the keyboard will feature controls to access the RGB lighting, media buttons, and of course, a USB 2.0 port pass-through.

 

 

Going along with the HyperX Alloy Elite RGB mechanical keyboard is the HyperX Pulsefire Surge RGB mouse. From the press release, the gaming mouse includes RGB lighting effects, a Pixart 3389 sensor and the ability to go up to 16,000 DPI.

Lastly, HyperX has introduced their Predator DDR4 RGB RAM memory modules which feature synchronized RGB lighting and IR technology. RGB is becoming quite the norm for RAM modules though with this Predator kit, the user will be able to customize various lighting and pattern effects. Unfortunately, there’s no word on particular kit configurations quite yet.

In terms of availability, the HyperX Cloud Flight headset along with the HyperX Alloy Elite RGB mechanical keyboard will be available this month. The HyperX Pulsefire Surge RGB gaming mouse and the Predator DDR4 RGB RAM will be available at some point during the second quarter of this year.
