As you would expect, we’re bound to get another Call of Duty game from the cash generating empire, Activision, and according to a recent job listing, it seems that it’s most likely going to be headed up by development studio Treyarch.
As per the job ad, Treyarch is looking to hire an Art Coordinator to work on 3D modeling and texturing for their “next AAA title”. While Activision hasn’t officially announced anything, it’s fairly obvious that this next triple-A game is going to be Call of Duty 2018.
As per the usual cycle between studios, last year’s Call of Duty WWII release was developed by Sledgehammer games, 2016’s Infinite Warfare release by Infinity Ward, making the last game to be developed by Treyarch, Call of Duty Black Ops III, which released in 2015, this solidifies Treyarch’s development possibility even more.
In other Call of Duty news, Call of Duty WWII has topped the UK sales chart for 8 weeks in a row. Read more about this achievement, here.
‘Sledgehammer Games’ Call of Duty WWII has been performing phenomenally since it launched back in November, so much so that it managed to top the UK Physical sales chart for 8 weeks in a row. This impressive feat hasn’t happened since 2010, when Zumba Fitness (no joke) managed ten straight weeks at the top. ‘
