One of the biggest reasons to play a Blizzard game, beyond the great gameplay it offers, is to enjoy the stories. Typically well written and well choreographed, the stories are often delivered in the form of CGI, of which Blizzard is well regarded for.
They're like the Pixar of the game industry, and their cinematics for games like Diablo, Starcraft, and Warcraft are among some of the best. It wouldn't be an exaggeration to state that they set the standard.
Blizzard's latest game, Starcraft 2: Heart of the Swarm, continues the studio's tradition of delivering great CGI movies and in-engine machinima. This time around, it tells the story of Sarah Kerrigan, now queen of the Zerg.
If you've no intention of playing the game (though you most certainly should), you can watch the video below. It consists of all 34 minutes of cinematic footage and is rife with spoilers. So once again, don't watch it unless you have no intention of playing the game by yourself.
The game is out for the PC and Mac OSX.
