Nintendo’s Hybrid console, the Switch has been performing exceptionally well across the world – especially with its superb lineup of exclusive title, however, according to Media Crate, it seems that the console has been performing extraordinarily well in a specific country.
According to this week’s sales charts (December 11-17) for the Japanese market released by Media Create, Nintendo has sold a total of 221,210 units in just one week. In terms of Super Mario Odyssey, the game has been sold a total of 133,180 copies, making Nintendo near the total 1 million sales mark in Japan.
The Switch sales from this week also mean that Nintendo will soon sell a total of 3 million units in Japan, with the current number sitting at 2,908,416 sold units in Japan. Hopefully, Nintendo will manage to hit the mark by the end of the holiday season.
