To the Moon Sequel Finding Paradise Available on Steam & GOG

December 15, 2017 by Katrina Filippidis

Prepare yourself for sentimental storytelling of the exquisite kind.

Freebird Games, the developer of tear-inducing 2011 hit To the Moon, has released the second episode in the series on Steam. Finding Paradise charts the journey of doctors Rosalene and Watts as they give dying patient Colin a second chance to fulfil unfinished business.

A second chance means different things to different people, and in Colin’s case, it entails a wish that seems self-contradictory. The official trailer (above) gives us a taste of what to expect, and from a quick glimpse, it looks like we’re in for another top-down pixel art tear-jerker.

Kan Gao reprises his role as lead writer for Finding Paradise, and cultivates a delicate piano landscape with the help of Laura Shigihara (Rakuen). In development since 2012, Finding Paradise was originally expected to hit digital distribution outlets back in May, but was delayed due to personal circumstances.

Fans of narrative focused games can dive into Finding Paradise on Steam or GOG (PC, Mac & Linux) today. Both Finding Paradise and To the Moon are selling at discounted prices until next week.
