Remember "Remember Me"? Well, Capcom hasn't told us much about it, but we now know when it's coming out as the publisher has just put out a new trailer for the upcoming Remember Me to reveal its release date.
Nilin, the game's protagonist, wakes up in a strange place and experiences a variety of strange environments in this kaleidoscopic action adventure. She beats down strange humanoids, performs a bit of parkour, and traverses through some sort of virtual environment—all for the sake of getting her memory back.
She doesn't know who she is, and neither do we, and that's what the whole premise of the game is about. It's a new IP from Capcom, which is a refreshing change from all the stale franchises we've seen so far.
Given what I've seen of Remember Me, it's set to be one of the most inventive and imaginative games to date. It's also one of the only games to feature a female main character, and that's something I'd certainly like to see much more of.
The game is slated for release on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC on June 4, 2013.
