Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance developer Platinum Games has announced new plans for VR Missions DLC on their blog, translated by Metal Gear Solid TV.
Announced DLC includes being able to play as Jetstream Sam, Raiden's nemesis, and as LQ-84i, a robot dog.
There are no details yet as to whether or not these playable characters will be part of a story-based DLC, or as a challenge map.
It was already known that Platinum would be releasing 30 VR Missions as DLC. Luckily for us, some of the VR Missions were announced on the blog. The first is called the "Soul Snake Wooden Sword," a sword infused with the soul of Solid Snake, perfect for those fans of the original titles.
Announced challenge maps include VR19: Unarmed Combat Training, a side-scrolling challenge map in which you fight with your bare hands, and VR21, where you will be able to control the Dwarf Gekko.
These VR Missions will be PlayStation 3-exclusive in North America, but will be available for the Xbox 360 in Latin America and Europe. It will all be available for download in early April.
