Yesterday news began to surface that PUBG will be running at 60FPS on Microsoft’s Xbox One X, while yes Bluehole Studios is aiming to hit the 60FPS mark on the Xbox One X console, it won’t be running at that frame-rate during the launch.
Taking to Twitter creative director Brendan Greene emphasized that the game is still in early production, and as a result won’t be running at 60FPS at launch.
‘While I previously stated PUBG would run at higher FPS at XGP launch on 12/12, I want to clarify that PUBG will run at 30 FPS across all
@Xbox One devices. We’re constantly refining the game & exploring options to increase FPS, but this early in dev, we’re unable to confirm more.’
Unfortunately for a game that has been pushed to make its way to console gamers will have to give it a while till they get a full console experience from PUBG.
In other PUBG news, the title has been confirmed to take up 30GB of space on the Xbox One.
