Blizzard announced that they will soon be deploying 2.0.4 patch for Starcraft II: Wings of Liberty, the last big patch before the release of the Heart of the Swarm expansion.
According to the Starcraft II website, the patch will implement many of the changes promised for the expansion including an all new user interface, and improved matchmaking tools such as Training Mode and Unranked Play.
The patch will also include the launch of in-game clans and groups, new replay features, editor improvements including a new help section, Players Near You, which helps players find others on their local network, among other things.
However, players will not be able to experience the new campaigns and other features until the new expansion is released.
According to Blizzard, the background download was activated on Feb. 9, so Starcraft II players should hope to get the new improvements within the next few days.
The Heart of the Swarm expansion will be released on March 12.
