Spartan Ops has been a key element of Halo 4's multiplayer, offering co-op gameplay for up to four players in missions specifically designed for cooperation. Existing outside of the game's singleplayer campaign and taking place six months after the events of Master Chief's encounter with the Forerunners, players take on the roles of the UNSC's Spartans upon the planet of Requiem.
Today, Episode 10 is out for Spartan Ops. Titled "Exodus", it serves as the conclusion to the first season of Spartan Ops, drawing the stories of the Spartans aboard the Infinity to a close.
343 Industries writes: "Jul 'Mdama's final plan is set in motion, guaranteeing the destruction of Infinity and her crew. Spartan Palmer and the members of Fireteam Majestic are dispatched on a do or die mission as the events of Spartan Ops come to an explosive end."
Depending on how well the first season is received, 343 Industries may choose to develop another season of the co-op mode. According to Frank O'Connor, the decision to make another season has yet to be decided.
