Looking to rack up experience points for your Destiny 2 character? Then make sure you dedicate some time towards Bungie’s MMO this weekend! Destiny 2’s servers will be running with double XP – but only if you are in a Clan.
This event was announced by Bungie on their official website, where they revealed that the first Clarion Call begins today, Friday November 17, at 18:00 GMT / 19:00 CET, running through until Monday, November 20 until 18:00 GMT / 19:00 CET.
Those who enjoy the more solo experience will be able to earn double XP at a later stage – alternatively, stop being anti-social and join one!
Destiny 2 had an incredible launch last month, however, the game’s number of players have been steadily declining, this has mainly been attributed to lack of end-game content bringing players back for more.
Destiny 2 launched to critical acclaim a couple weeks back, promising fans everything they wanted from Destiny 1 and all its expansion back from the get-go. While during the first weeks the title had seemingly nothing slowing down the hype train, peaking at a total of 3.5 million concurrent players on September 17. Since then in just the last 30 days Destiny 2’s player base has plummeted by over 2 million users, with over 400,000 lost in the last two days.
