Evil Geniuses' newly featuring player offered his thoughts in a recent interview with, uh, Evil Geniuses. To set the stage: EG.LoL pulled a 2-1 score last weekend, defeating their old rivals at Gambit Gaming in the process. Rising through the tumult surrounding the agency's new League of Legends team, Peter “Yellowpete” Wüppen has proven himself an instrumental figure in their efforts. He recently sat down to discuss his thoughts on his new team, the season 3 additions and changes, his recent preparations, and more.
"From my first impressions of Evil Geniuses, I can definitely tell why they are such a well-established e-sports organization – Things are well structured and little is left to chance, which is much appreciated in a business as young and as commonly unorganized as ours. As for me personally adjusting to the switch, there is not much to do: Wearing a different jersey and using a different streaming overlay does it for the most part. Obviously, moving to Cologne was also something to be taken care of, but that would have been the same for any other organization as well."
Though Wuppen was large part of EG.LoL's success in their matches, he wasn't operating solo. Team member Mitch “Krepo“ Voorspoels joined him in the bottom lane to participate in some impressive support/carry synergy.
"We still verbally communicate a lot, mostly because games can often be chaotic with situations that you cannot completely prepare and have a set plan for. We have a decent idea of each others judgment though, so generally we will be on one line about what to do at any given point."
The German appears to have found his stride amongst his cohorts. To read the rest of the interview, head on over here.
