Capcom has announced an upcoming DLC for DmC: Devil May Cry, which is set to include a new arena-based challenge mode.
The DLC, titled "Bloody Palace", is an arena-based challenge mode that takes players through what the publisher refers to as a "survival gauntlet" made up of over a hundred different levels with a variety of monsters and boss fights.
Players will be able to access the arena once they complete the single player campaign. Like every other mode—including the single player campaign—the upcoming "Bloody Palace" will feature global leaderboards so players can go head to head against their friends by attempting to topple their high scores.
The inclusion of the leaderboard is expected to extend the longevity of the new mode, while challenging players to play at the top of their game.
Bloody Palace will be available for owners of DmC on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 from February 20. The publisher has not given word on whether the mode will be released on the PC, although we've little reason to believe otherwise.

DmC: Devil May Cry is currently out for the PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, and is designed as a series reboot by the game's new stewards at Ninja Theory.
