This week's big gaming event is the 16th annual D.I.C.E. Summit (Design, Innovate, Communicate, Entertain) in Las Vegas where Thatgamecompany's Journey won big, and also the most coveted Game of the Year award.
Mind you, this isn't a popularity contest like any other video game awards show since this is decided upon by developers themselves.

I guess a congrats are in order for Thatgamecompany's Journey and Telltale's The Walking Dead? Then again, seeing as most publications have awarded both games with Game of the Year honors last year, I gather they're tired from all the backpatting already.
