The latest issue of Famitsu magazine has revealed an all new character for Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance. Her name is Sunny, and she appears to be a supporting character who helps Raiden throughout the game.
Sunny was first introduced in Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty as the daughter of Olga Gurlukovich, and can be seen sporting similar clothes as her mother. Check her out below:
Apart from how she looks, little else is known about the character or how she'll be supporting Raiden. However, according to fansite Metal-Gear.net the character was revealed as having been rescued from the Patriots by Raiden, and placed under thecare of Solid Snake and Otacon in Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots.
It goes without saying that the upcoming game ties heavily into the previous titles, so gamers who played through the previous Metal Gear games shouldn't be disappointed with Revengeance's place in the series' canon.
The game is slated for release on the 19th this month for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. There are no plans to put the game on the PC.
