NIS America decided to remind everyone today that they're still on track to deliver Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory to North American audiences early next month.
So what better way to grab everyone's attention than releasing a series of new screenshots from the localized version? Especially one's featuring Kenji Infafune's face on a ship.
And not just any ship, but the Space Battleship Yamato, from the classic anime that ran during the 70s in Japan (and the 80s in America, as Star Blazers).
According to Japanator, which is where you'll find the rest of the screenshots, the game also contains Pac-Man ghosts, pipes from Super Mario Bros, a Nazca bird, which one would guess is a reference to Xevious, and the Dix-Neuf from Diebuster. Clearly this game will have it all.
Though everyone is mostly hoping that the third Hyperdimension Neptunia is better than the first two. When one pushes aside the concept of game consoles in the form of anime girls (which is either cute or creepy, depending on one's tastes), you're left with otherwise rather bland and at times flat out horribly playing games.
Fingers crossed that third time is a home run.
