The third quarter fiscal report from EA reveals its Battlefield 3 Premium seems to be doing well on the er, uh, battlefield. The service, available as a $50 stand alone purchase or as part of the Battlefield 3 Premium Edition, offers a variety of bonuses for its subscribers, from DLC to special server access. According to the figures, in the time since the last numbers were posted in October, it has apparently gained over one million more subscribers, now amassing to 2.9 million. It has also earned EA $108 million in sales.
The Battlefield 3 Premium service offers a total of five content packs. The last will debut this upcoming March.
