We now know when to expect the games that will comprise the previously reported Wii U Virtual Console Trial Campaign, which is also part of the Famicom's 30th birthday bash, reports Nintendo Life.
To recap, the promotion will see a new classic title being released every month, from now until July. And each will be available for just 30 cents (again, that's how old the Famicom is), but only during its allotted time.
Once you've missed a game, that's it. Or, at the very least, that's it for such a rock bottom price. Anyhow, Balloon Fight was the first title served, which was made available last week. You have until the 21st of next month to grab a copy.
Here's what else to expect, and when to expect them:
February – F-Zero (SNES) – From 20th February to 21st March
March – Punch Out!! Featuring Mr. Dream (NES) – From 20th March to 18th April
April – Kirby’s Adventure (NES) – From 17th April to 16th May
May – Super Metroid (SNES) – From 15th May to 13th June
June – Yoshi (NES) – From 12th June to 11th July
July – Donkey Kong (NES) – From 15th July to 13th August
Again, 30 cents is not a bad deal, but especially for F-Zero and Super Metroid, since they're both SNES titles, which normally go for eight dollars in the Virtual Console shop. Though mostly the later, since it's widely considered one of the best video games of all time.
