Kingdom Hearts 1.5 HD ReMIX Being Prepped For A Western Release, Apparently

January 25, 2013 by Matt Hawkins

Once again, no secrets are safe in this age of social media.

Pretty much the one thing that's perpetually on the minds of every rabid Kingdom Hearts fan out there is when the next installment is due. Like Kingdom Hearts 1.5 HD Remix; the HD remastered collection for the PS3, which includes Kingdom Hearts Final Mix and Re:Chain of Memories, was revealed some time ago and is due for arrival in Japan next month.

But nothing has been said about an American release. Though it would appear that it's definitely on the way, courtesy of voice actor and musician Jesse McCartney. McCartney, who is the Western voice of Roxas, posted the image above on Instragram. It included the following message:

"For all you 'Kingdom Hearts' Fans. Recording the next chapter!"

The image has since been removed; the copy above is courtesy of All Games Beta. Perhaps it was yanked per request of Square-Enix, publisher of the game? Perhaps they didn’t want some big surprised spoiled? More than likely, on both counts.
