Monument Valley 2 had a surprise launch in June, releasing three years after its best-selling prequel Monument Valley. True to form, developer ustwo Games recently announced that Monument Valley 2 would be partnering with iam8bit to deliver fans of the game an original vinyl soundtrack.
Like last year’s release of the original Monument Valley soundtrack, the MV2 OST will be split into a two volume 180g vinyl set accompanied by a digital download. Composed by Todd Baker, who is known for his work on the LittleBigPlanet series and Media Molecule’s Tearaway, it has already clocked up one million downloads to date.
Those interested can pre-order the vinyl soundtrack for $40 USD through iam8bit. It also features album art by David Fernández Huerta (Monument Valley) and newcomer Nelle Wellens. Shipments begin in Q1 2018.
