Super Hexagon Has Arrived On Android

January 20, 2013 by Matt Hawkins

And it’s just a buck, at least for the time being.

Diehard iOS users love reminding their Android-owning pals of all the exclusives that they enjoy. But there is yet another game that they must strike from their list; Terry Cavanagh's critically acclaimed Super Hexagon is now on Android. Not only that, but as a special introductory price, it's being offered for just a dollar.

The game requires at least Android 2.2, aka Fryo. Unfortunately, various issues have been reported thus far, all relating to the kind of phone or tablet one has. The three biggest ones is a screen resolution issue that causes oversized fonts and misplaced buttons on some devices, music not playing on certain Samsung devices, and input lag.

That last one is the biggest problem, since timing is such a crucial element on the game. The issue was already known already, at least with the Nexus 7, but it seems that other devices are now victims as well. Cavanagh assures everyone that his team is working as fast as possible to correct all problems.
