Looking to pick up the upcoming Xbox One X? We have some good news for you: Call of Duty: WWII has been confirmed to support 4K resolution on Microsoft’s upcoming console.
As many of you know, Sony actually has a marketing deal with Activision so it doesn’t really make sense for Activision to reveal which console will run the game best right now – however, Sledgehammer recently revealed box art for the Xbox version of the game – both 4K support and HDR will be present and it’s clearly marked “Xbox One X Enhanced”.
While we don’t know whether this will be checkerboard 4K or native 4K, it’s still good to know that Sledgehammer games are truly making use of the most powerful console’s capabilities.
