Assassin’s Creed 3 has seen a small share of DLCs since its release late last year, but its developers at Ubisoft have plans to continue developing the game in both its single and multiplayer aspects.
With that in mind, Ubisoft has just released the Battle Hardened Pack for the PC, which was made available on both the Xbox 360 and PS3 last week. The Battle Hardened Pack includes three new characters for use in multiplayer, which include the Governor, the Highlander, and the Coyote Man. It also comes with three multiplayer maps including Charlestown, Fort St. Mathieu, and Saint Pierre.
The DLC is available as a part of the Assassin’s Creed 3 Season Pass, which is available for $29.99. Those who purchase the Season Pass will also be entitled to all the previously released DLCs as well as the upcoming campaign expansion, The Tyranny of King Washington.
In the campaign, players will embark on a journey to dethrone George Washington, who crowned himself the King of America in an alternate history following the events of the American Revolution.
“In this alternate history, it’s 1783 and the American Revolution is over, but the true battle is just beginning. Blinded by a thirst for unlimited power, George Washington has declared himself king. Now, our new hero Ratonhnhaké:ton must dethrone the tyrant and return freedom to the land,” reads the description.
That’s set to come out later this year, in three episodic packs.
