EA and DICE’s have just launched the Star Wars: Battlefront Season Pass for free across all platforms from today. While EA hasn’t officially announced the promotion, you can head on over to the Origin Store/ PSN Store/ Xbox Store. The promotion is limited and we aren’t really sure as to how long the promotion will be running, so much sure you hit download ASAP.
The Season Pass provides players with a ton of post-launch content for the first game including new maps, new modes, Heroes, Star Cards and much more. It encompasses four DLC packs including Outer Rim, Bespin, Death Star and Rogue One: Scarif. So far it seems that PS Plus isn’t required to get the season pass, but Xbox One players will only be able to access the pass through Xbox Live.
Meanwhile, DICE is prepping Star Wars Battlefront 2 for release on November 17th for Xbox One, PS4. The sequel won’t be following the same model as the previous Battlefront – rather, all post-launch DLC (maps, modes and characters) will be free, instead, players will be able to purchase loot boxes, there will also be micro-transactions.
Star Wars: Battlefront is out now for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
