In October of last year, Cliff Belszinski, more commonly known within gamers as CliffyB, shocked the industry when he announced that he was leaving Epic Games to take a much needed break.
After that, Bleszinksi toured various publishers and studios, but did not commit to any one of them. While he has yet to issue anything concrete aside from admitting that he will open his own studio, we at least know one thing on CliffyB's plate this 2013: and that's giving the keynote speech at this year's PAX East!
PAX is, of course, the annual show by Penny-Arcade that units the gaming community in a weekend of gaming festivities and surprise reveals. Unfortunately, Bleszinski handling keynote duties (referred to by PA as "Storytime), is all we have for now. Who knows, though? Maybe Dude Huge will announce this latest project there or finally reveal which publisher he's partnered up with.
In addition to the CliffyB news, Penny-Arcade also revealed the list of performers for the event. On Friday, people will see the Protomen, VGO and Those Who Fight, while Saturday will usher in Sam Hart, Frontalot, Jonathan Coultron and Paul and Storm.
Knock 'em dead, Cliff! And announce your plans there while you're at it, alright?
Thanks, Destructoid
