Nintendo’s hybrid console the Switch has just received its latest update.
While as usual, you can expect stability upgrades, the most important addition is that Online Play has been finally added to South American countries Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, and Peru.

- Nintendo Switch Online
- Added online play in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, and Peru. This is currently available for free until the paid online service launches in 2018.
- General system stability improvements to enhance the user’s experience
How to update your Nintendo Switch console
- If your Nintendo Switch is connected to the internet, your console will download the update automatically.
- Once the download is complete, you’ll be asked if you’d like to install the update. Be sure to save any game progress before you continue.
- When you’re ready to install the update, choose “update” to install. Your console will restart to complete the update.
