It's been quite a God of War: Ascension week for Sony as not only did PS+ members get access to Ascension's multiplayer beta, Sony Santa Monica also released the latest video for their "Unchained" developer documentary and they're not done yet.
Courtesy of Sony Australia (via VG247), we now have our first look at God of War: Ascension-themed DualShock 3 controllers. While it hasn't been announced for the U.S. and other territories just yet, I think it's safe to assume that this won't be limited to Australian PS3 gamers.
Fortunately, the actual design is rather well-made and doesn't look tacky at all. There's Kratos' face on controller's right side, while the left side (d-pad) has the Omega symbol.
This special edition Dualshock 3 will ship on March 14 in Australia, which is the same date the game will be available there. For U.S. God of War fans, Ascension will hit retail on March 12, so chances are the controller will be available at that date, too.
Anyone planning on picking this up when the game gets released?
