In the latest issue of Best Buy's Gamer magazine, NetherRealm Studios announced the inclusion of Bane and Lex Luthor in the Injustice: Gods Among Us' roster.
While details are scant, the magazine describes Bane as a grappling character (suprise!) that uses wrestling-inspired moves, with no projectiles of any kind. However, Bane's trademark Venom drug will be in the game, and using it will make Bane more powerful and I presume deal more damage. In Lex Luthor's case, he'll be wearing his armored suit, which we see him use to great effect in the comics and in the Justice League animation. As expect, it will allow Lex to fire off projectiles and other gadgets at his foes.
I admit, Lex Luthor's addition seems like a no-brainer. But Bane? I did dig his character in Batman's "Knightfall" comic series, but with Joker, Harley, Nightwing and Batman himself already in the game, might there perhaps be too much Batman characters?
