Tomorrow at 6 A.M. east coast time, the latest episode of Nintendo Direct will air, with news about the Pokemon franchise. Speculation abounds but one plausible rumor from a GoNintendo source claims the announcement will reveal a new 3DS game aimed as a "love letter to the franchise". Entitled Pokemon Rainbow, it's said to encompass the Pokemon and locations from the first four generations, Red and Blue, Gold and Silver, Ruby and Sapphire, and Diamond and Pearl. The source describes the graphics as "really nice" and describes the perspective as similar to the originals, but with more dynamic camera angles. Over 20 new Pokemon are said to be added, with two to be unveiled tomorrow. One, named Verdill, is a rat Pokemon similar to Patrat with a pirate theme. The other is an "an evolution of an older Pokemon Eevee, called Draconeon".
The source says there will also be a Wii U app for the game, which will also be announced tomorrow. Check back at this Nintendo Direct feed at 6 AM Eastern time tomorrow to watch it live.
