Set within a world of sentient machines, Gappo’s Legacy VR is sci-fi combat expedition that centres around shooting enemies, open-world desert exploration, and hunting for the highest score possible in specialised tactical missions.
You play as ‘makina’, machines that possess human consciousness, and as part of the MRA (Makina Resistance Army) your task is to reclaim control of the promised land of Kafke from wicked space pirates. With 360 degree freedom of movement, you can experience the glory of arcade shooting in a brand new way. There are also ‘gappos’, smart applications that grant the makinæ special abilities like a blaster, shield, super strength and extended bullet time for ploughing down pirate drones. A mixed reality (MR) title, Gappo’s Legacy VR supports both Oculus Rift and HTC Vive, and has been available through Viveport since July.
