Codemasters’ upcoming racing title F1 2017 has a hot new trailer starring none other than McLaren Young Driver Lando Norris. Norris, who swiped the second quickest time in the recent Hungary Formula One test, went behind the wheel again in F1 2017, confirming the new breed of GP cars are “much faster and more intense to drive”.
Norris went on to praise the inclusion of classic McLaren cars going back to 1988, and singled out the 2008 title-winning car as being “fun to throw about” with good downforce.
F1 2017 boasts 12 classic cars from Red Bull Racing, Ferrari, McLaren and Renault, as well as new shortened circuits within the US, Japan, Bahrain and Britain. Fans of the Circuit de Monaco will also get the chance to blaze down its racetrack at night.
F1 2017 was first revealed back in February of this year. It’s the ninth title in Codemasters’ Formula One series of racing video games.
Interested players can pre-order F1 2017 today for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Anyone who pre-orders day one copies will also receive a 1988 McLaren MP4/4 as part of the Special Edition.
