If you haven't been keeping up with videogame news, you might not know that Capcom has recently released a Street Fighter X Mega Man game to commemorate the Blue Bomber's 25th year anniversary.
While this fan-made free game is a nice touch, it's not without its problems. Users on Capcom's message boards have been complaining of stability issues and the inability to save just to name a few.
Fortunately, even if this is a free game, Capcom will still take care of it like it was a retail game. Capcom's Senior Vice President Christian Svensson says that he'll be bringing these known issues to the developers and that they're talking about doing an update.
I'm guessing stuff like these are exactly why Street Fighter X Mega Man has only been released for PCs and not on the PSN and XBLA. If they were to be update on Sony and Microsoft's platforms, Capcom would have to pass certification first and in turn, pony up a rather significant fee, which would be counter-productive since this is a free game.
Have you played Street Fighter X Mega Man yet? What issues have you seen crop up?
