DICE has just announced that they're now rolling out a server update for Battlefield 3 on all platforms. While updates for Battlefield 3 are usually filled with tons of gun, vehicle and other tweaks, this latest update only fixes three things, but one of them is kind of a big one since it renders a player invulnerable.
Fixes immortality bug
We have identified and eliminated a bug where players in specific cases would be rendered invulnerable.
Fixes broken spawn points in TDM mode on Strike at Karkand
We have identified and eliminated a bug where players would only spawn in a few places on the east side of the map.
Fixes a crash in Gun Master mode
We have identified and eliminated a crash issue in Gun Master mode. To definitively eliminate this crash issue, we have had to implement a change so that players can no longer move in preround in Gun Master mode.
According to DICE, this server update should take no longer than 15 minutes on consoles to be rolled out. For PC, players should expect it to be implemented in about 24 hours in a majority of its servers. During this 15-minute update, players will not be able to join or play multiplayer for the time being. So if you get signed out or whatnot, don't be shocked as chances are the update is being rolled into Battlefield 3's servers.
Have any of you experienced this immortality bug? I seem to remember experiencing this in one game since I unloaded two whole magazines that for some reason did not kill my enemy. What other big bugs or issues are plaguing Battlefield 3 still?
