The Walking Dead Game Episode One Free on iOS for a Limited Time

December 19, 2012 by Alex Co

Telltale’s award-winning adventure game The Walking Dead has its first episode free on iOS devices!

If you haven't played any part of Telltale Games' excellent The Walking Dead game and you have an iOS device, now you don't have an excuse, as the studio is making the first episode of their award-winning adventure game free on iOS for a limited time.

Episode One: A New Day, introduces us to game protagonist Lee Everett. Mind you, he's not a hero by any means, which you'll know right from the get-go. Along the way, Lee meets Clementine — spunky, young girl who's still waiting for her parents to come home.

While all five episodes that comprise Season One is already out on PSN, Xbox LIVE and on PC, Telltale seems to be targeting the iOS market in trying to hook them in with The Walking Dead's game adaptation. Truth be told, I can't see people playing the first episode of it and not wanting to know what happens next — yes, it's that good.

Of course, chances are you know of the game's quality already. I mean, it even won the coveted Game of the Year award and managed to beat the likes of Mass Effect 3, Halo 4 and other big, triple A title at the recenty-concluded VGAs.

So, if you have an iPhone, iPad or iPod, I sugget giving the game look now on iTunes. I guarantee it won't be what you're expecting.

As a sidenote, please don't post spoilers for any of the episodes in the comments as to not ruin the game's fantastic story to those who haven't played it yet, alright?

Thanks, Siliconera
