Call of Duty: Black Ops II is on top again, now in its fifth consecutive week of holding the number one position in UKIE's UK video games chart. Also unsurprisingly, FIFA 13 has remained in the top three, sitting in third place for its sixth consecutive week. The number two spot has been secured by Hitman Absolution, previously further down in the top ten, because of a price promotion (presumably the 50% offer in GAME).
Numbers four, five, and six are all occupied by Ubisoft titles, namely Just Dance 4 (another price promotion), Far Cry 3 (previously in second position, now usurped by the half-price Hitman Absolution), and Assassin's Creed III. The rest of the top ten is the same as it was last week, with Halo 4 in seventh position followed by Need for Speed: Most Wanted, Lego The Lord of the Rings, and WWE '13.
Again, Wii U exclusives are nowhere to be seen at the top of the chart, with Nintendo Land peeking in at number 39, but this is presumably due to low supply for the console itself.
There are some relatively old titles still sitting comfortably in this top 40 chart. Has your favourite made it this week?
