With the original BioShock being one of this generation's most memorable games, it goes without saying that its direct sequel, BioShock Infinite, is one of the most anticipated games of 2013.
While PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 players are waiting for BioShock Infinite's March release, can Nintendo fans expect a port or any game from the studio anytime soon? Not so, according to Irrational Games head Ken Levine.
In an interview with Destructoid, Levine reveals that he bought a Wii U, he likes it but there's nothing "brewing" for it right now.
We never had any news on the Wii U. I bought one and I like it. I play games on it! But in terms of development, nothing is brewing right now.
So, I take it a Wii U port of BioShock Infinite is out of the cards, then? Of course, Levine admitting that they don't have anything for the Wii U now doesn't mean that there won't be in the future. Once Nintenod establishes a proper userbase and as more and more publisher support it, who knows? Maybe the next BioShock after Infinite might grace the Wii U alongside the PS4 and Xbox 720 versions.
Does this affect your Wii U purchase or has Nintendo fans accepted that not every relevant studio will be making games for the newly-released console?

BioShock Infinite is set for a March 2013 release for the PC, Xbox 360 and PS3.
