The Astronauts, a new studio comprised of former People Can Fly devs, have announced that they will be revealing "a bit" of their first project next month.
This was revealed by former People Can Fly creative director, and now The Astronauts co-founder Adrian Chmielarz over on Twitter where he said the following:
We'll show a bit of our first project in January. I'm writing the news about the teaser for the reveal of the first pixel.
While People Can Fly is known for releasing Bulletstorm (and now in the process of developing Gears of War: Judgment), The Astronauts has confirmed that their upcoming game won't be a shooter but will be based on Epic's Unreal Engine 3 game engine. Aside from that, they've also confirmed that what they're making won't be a mobile game but it will be "low budget" title, since they're funding everything themselves.
Hopefully, The Astronauts rocks our socks off when they reveal their game in January, no? What do you want to see from the people who bought you Bulletstorm? Seeing as Chmielarz is quite fond of horror flicks, perhaps it's a horror game? One can hope, no?
