In addition to unveiling Street Fighter X Mega Man, Capcom made another announcement at the Street Fighter 25th Anniversary grand finals this past weekend: two prominent members of the fighting community has just been hired by the publisher.
Shoryuken reports that Neidel “Haunts” Crisan, founder of iPlayWinner and Peter "Combofiend" Rosas, who’s a name in the fighting scene, will both become of a part of Capcom. Specifics regarding their new roles are unclear at the moment.
Though one has to assume that either one or both will take over the reigns of Seth Killian, the once former community manager who recently left to assume the role of lead game designer at Sony's Santa Monica Studios.
Killian himself was a member of the fighting community who was snatched up by Capcom, and who ended doing a terrific job as the public face of Capcom. Hopefully the publisher is hoping lighting can strike twice, or three times even.
