There’s a GWENT Gamescom Tournament Happening Next Month

July 25, 2017 by Katrina Filippidis

Prove your worth.

With GWENT‘s beta going public, fans of The Witcher got the chance to immerse themselves in its rich fantasy world all over again. In May, creators CD Projekt Red organised a challenger tournament offering a massive 100K prize pool, and if you happen to be in Cologne this August, there’s another chance to snap up a hefty sum.

Starting August 25, a two-day GWENT tournament will be held at Gamescom where $25,000 USD is up for grabs. The tournament is split into ranked play, which has seven spots reserved for top ranked players, and a wild card qualifier, which determines the final entrant and takes place on August 24.

Entry to the competition is free, and anyone can participate (in ranked play) regardless of whether you play GWENT on PC, PlayStation 4 or Xbox One. The wild card qualifiers are on-site at Gamescom and are PC only.

Interested players can sign up for the GWENT Gamescom tournament here. Make sure to sign up before August 1 (the cut-off date).
