For those who weren't available to watch the two-hour live-stream for this year's VGAs, you watch the replay now in the video below and it's surprisingly decent.
While the VGAs aren't really taken seriously by some people, it seems Spike TV and GameTrailers managed to make this year's awards show a tad more respectable. I mean, there's no teabagging on stage, no semi-naked girls to try and appeal to men and all that. Instead, this year focused on the awards, and on the games.
Here's part one of the VGAs where "Phantom Pain" was revealed.
You can check the other videos here to jump to each part that you want to watch. Of course, if you're not really into watching it again, perhaps a recap would be better?
Moby Dick Studios, a studio allegedly based in Sweden, unveiled a trailer for a new game called "Phantom Pain." Based on the clues and whatnot; this might just be Metal Gear Solid V disguised for some reason.
Naughty Dog not only released a new trailer for The Last of Us, but they also revealed the game's official launch date, too. So mark May 7, 2013 on your calendars.
Finally, if you want to check up on all the category winners, perusing this list is even better than watching the entire VGAs since they gave half of the awards off-air and wasn't even revealed during the show.
So, there you have it. Another VGAs to wrap up the year. Is this the best one they've made yet? While there weren't as many game reveals compared to previous years, the actual awards show itself was a lot better and showed that they are moving in the right direction, no?
Did you like this year's VGAs? Which part was the highlight and what can be changed to make the show even better?
