Firaxis’ XCOM 2 has released a new trailer for their upcoming expansion titled War of the Chosen, depicting new enemies, new environments, new events and new resistance factions, with Templar faction taking the limelight in clip.
The Templar is essentially an Assassin-psionic type character, making use of energy and blades to take out their opponents. Every kill builds up the Templar’s ‘focus’ allowing them to cast Volt. The Volt in its early stages allows players to use a powerful sniping attack, once fully charged however, it can become devastating, striking multiple enemies at once.
Players should note that focus is a resource, players will have to balance spending and recharging to become as effective as possible.
XCOM 2: War of the Chosen arrives on August 28th for Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
