With the VGA's just a day away, Square Enix has released the teaser for Tomb Raider's VGA trailer. Like with the other teasers before it, the Tomb Raider clip is very short and doesn't show an ounce of gameplay. Unless, of course, you count a cut-scene using in-game graphics as gameplay.
In it, we see the new-look Lara talk to what appears to be her mentor/friend and say she doesn't think "she's that kind of Croft." The man, undeterred, hands her an axe anyway. So, I guess he gives it to her as a weapon to fend of enemies, no?
And that's about it. For the full trailer, which we hope will show actual gameplay, be sure to watch "VGA 10" on Spike TV or on GameTrailers on Friday, December 7, at 9 p.m. ET. Joining Tomb Raider will be our first gameplay look at Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2, a new trailer for BioShock Infinite, and a ton of other surprise reveals and announcements.
Out of all the announced trailers, which one are you most excited to see? Personally, I'd love to see what Mercury Steam has in store for Lords f Shadow 2 since I really liked how the first game "ended" and its actual gameplay wasn't bad, either.
Come to think of it, are you looking forward to the awards show itself or just the reveals? If so, does anyone really watch it for the comedy skits and whatnot?
